About High Performance Academy Ltd
The High Performance Academy was formed to lift the level of knowledge in the aftermarket performance / motor racing industries.
HPA started with a sole focus on EFI Tuning education and now has expanded to include engine building and high level automotive wiring.
How HPA Started
The aftermarket EFI tuning industry is unusual in the fact that there is no formal qualification path to become a professional tuner. You can’t go to university or a polytechnic and come away with a qualification that makes you an ‘EFI Tuner’. The result is an industry with many tuners who don’t even understand the basic fundamentals of EFI. Often the outcome is poor results, damaged engines, frustrated customers and a general lack of trust in the industry as a whole.
Compounding this problem is that the small number of tuners who do know what they are doing and are achieving good results, didn’t want to share their knowledge. This left few opportunities for enthusiasts to learn. Traditionally your only option was to attend a live in-person course, and this style of learning can be inconvenient and expensive to attend.
The High Performance Academy was formed as a solution to this situation. A... single place where budding enthusiasts and experienced tuners alike, can develop their tuning skills and knowledge.
