National Pronto is seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help support and grow our Pronto Members business in product line alignment, national account support, business intelligence and banner shop participation driving business growth and member profitability. You will be the face of Pronto and will have the commitment to engage our members and utilize the business tools provided applying them effectively to support Pronto members in their growth and profitability strategies.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial & profitable growth through increasing sales and forging strong relationships with Pronto Members.
Developing a business development strategy focused on supporting Pronto Members within assigned geographic region
Arranging regular business development meetings with Pronto Members within assigned geographic region
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and member satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and members needs
Plan & arrange regular business meetings with members
Promote Pronto’s Supplier products/services addressing or predicting members needs
Utilize business tools provided to present opportunities to members and to communicate the outcome/successes to Pronto HQ Leadership
Provide trustworthy feedback to all stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis or as needed
Build long-term relationships with new and existing Pronto Members
5+ years of proven working experience as a business development manager, sales manager, marketing or customer service. Experience in the automotive parts industry is a plus. Previous experience in assessing, developing, implementing, and executing business plans
BS/BA in business administration or equivalent experience
High level of business acumen, market knowledge, and sales planning
Self-starter who can develop member strategy, drive sales process throughout the sales channel
Excellent at building and nurturing relationships with members, member’s customers, suppliers and internal staff.
Excellent time management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation/speaking skills
The ability to travel within assigned geographic regions 50% +
Proficiency in English
Valid Driver’s License
