- Replacement and fabrication of original sheet metal components (e.g. floor pan, quarter panels, rocker panels)
- Fabrication to accommodate late-model engine and transmission packages
- Scratch building or modifying various vehicle components including suspension, exhaust, and driveline systems
- Bending and installing roll bars, cages, and harness bars
- Building custom seat mounts, center consoles, and dash components
- Gapping and modification of exterior panels to maintain consistent fit
- Metal shaping and forming of custom interior or exterior panels
- Research and request parts in a timely manner to maintain workflow
- Final assembly of entire vehicle once bodywork and paint is complete
- Ability to weld various materials including steel, aluminum, stainless steel.
- Shape and straighten sheet metal
- Final assembly of vehicles with attention to detail and high-quality standards
- Solid attendance record and the ability to work overtime as required.
- Automotive restoration experience is required.
- Ability to take instruction from department lead and execute those instructions at a high level of quality.
