Established aftermarket company under new leadership is building a world-class team, and we are actively seeking talented individuals to join us on this journey. Wolo Manufacturing has an opening for an Electromechanical Engineer to be based out of our Long Island, NY headquarters.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and update engineering process flows for new products based on information gathered during NPDP (New Product Development Process) review.
Contribute to the completion of product/customer programs and projects as a responsible engineer.
Possess technical responsibility for product performance at each level of the finished good.
Support the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues on specific products.
Develop and maintain technical specifications, conceptual designs, trade studies, detail designs, procedures, and reports.
Substantiate design with supporting analysis and buy-in from stakeholders within the organization.
Collaborate with suppliers and external/internal partners for technology and business development needs.
Assist in the development of critical design review content for business related presentations.
Review technical support data including fabrication, source control, and assembly drawings.
Provide engineering leadership during prototype, first article inspection, production, assembly, and testing.
Generate initial work instructions based on review of design files and/or participation in end-user installation.
Serve as the technical lead within the organization by sharing best practices.
Work with minimal direction to complete concurrent program tasks on schedule.
Employ strong interpersonal and communication skills while operating within the product team.
Any other tasks or duties as assigned by senior management.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
