We are looking for an experienced technician to work in a high-performance and specialty automotive shop in Raleigh, NC. If you have experience with LS engine swaps, pro-touring, classic, or late model performance cars then this is the opportunity for you.

Position Description and Responsibilities: Automotive Technician for domestic classic and late model, performance vehicles.

1. Vehicle repairs and maintenance: Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs of vehicles. Proactively review vehicle condition and document recommended additional repairs.
2. Classic and late model performance vehicles: Perform repair, modification, assembly, fabrication, engine/transmission replacement, electrical harness replacement, & assist in parts research of assigned custom and project vehicles.

Review the vehicle and understand customer needs and goals for each assigned project.

3. Business operation: Support all business operational functions as needed. Periodically answer customer questions and discuss progress of their projects.
4. Support a high level of organization and cleanliness for entire facility.

Must have Qualifications:

• ABSOLUTELY MUST have a great attitude, love of performance vehicles, and a strong work ethic.
• 3 years’ professional experience and proficiency diagnosing/repairing/modifying domestic vehicle engine, suspension, brakes, electrical system, air conditioning, and transmission replacement.
• 3 years’ High performance or classic vehicle modification and repair experience.
• Computer skills for online technical manuals, service data, MS Excel, and shop management systems (Mitchel1, Shop-Key, Shop-Ware).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have strong time management, organization skills, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes and document project work.
• Self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team environment
• Desire to learn new skills/methods and improve current skillset
