The primary goals of the Territory Manager are to increase sales through maintaining relationships with existing clients & customers, identifying new opportunities, establishing new relationships, and following up on potential leads.
Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
Expand the company’s presence in our markets.
Attend regional and national trade shows.
Plan, create, and present on-site presentations that promote our manufacturer clients.
Monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.
Update client information in the company contact database.
Enter regular and precise information into our CRM system.
Must be willing to make regular overnight travel in the region with some national travel expected.
Basic knowledge of the aftermarket automotive industry.
Previous outside sales experienced preferred – but not required.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to function efficiently in a high paced work environment with multiple demands and deadlines with limited day to day oversight from leadership.
Ability to manage a large territory effectively in regard to time, resources, and account base.
An initiative-taker with excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite applications.
